Florida Keys Hydro Power Research Corporation, “Keys Hydro Power,” is a nonprofit Florida corporation based in Key West.

The mission of Keys Hydro Power is to research the potentials of developing electricity using local tidal currents, to produce a feasible concept, to demonstrate a successful concept, and to harness generated power from tidal turbines feeding the Keys Energy Services and Florida Keys Electric Cooperative grids.
